What is the role?
Here for people. Here for communities. Here for you.
Make a real impact every day as a Community Caretaker at Hafod.
As a Community Caretaker at Hafod, you’ll be a visible and trusted presence across our communities, helping to make sure our estates are safe, welcoming, well-maintained and a place residents are proud to call home.
You’ll work directly with residents, colleagues and contractors, responding to issues, carrying out inspections and basic repairs, and helping keep communal areas and outdoor spaces looking their best. You’ll play an important role in spotting problems early, improving the environment and making sure residents receive a responsive, high-quality service.
Every day will be different. You’ll have the opportunity to make a practical difference to people’s homes and communities, build positive relationships with residents and work closely with teams across Hafod to create healthier, better places to live.
We put people first, offering great training, supportive teams and opportunities to grow your career with us.
This is a full-time role, joining our regional team in Cardiff, Torfaen and Newport, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our communities. You’ll also need to be able to attend occasional evening meetings and participate in on-call support when required.
This role is a field based role that involves travelling independently across our sites and services in the Cardiff region as part of your day-to-day duties. You’ll need to hold a full, valid driving licence.
If you use your own vehicle for work, you’ll also need appropriate insurance (for example, business use).
If you’re unsure whether you can meet these requirements, please get in touch before applying and we’ll be happy to help.
Please note: We’re unable to offer visa sponsorship for this role.
